Magical Mystery Audio ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website and plugins, and how we handle it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell your data.
1. Information we collect
- Purchases. All sales are processed by Gumroad. When you buy a plugin, Gumroad collects your name, email address, and payment details. We never see or store your payment information. Gumroad shares your email and order details with us so we can deliver downloads and support. Gumroad's own privacy policy governs their handling of your data.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we store your email address for the sole purpose of sending you product updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- Support. If you contact us, we keep the correspondence and any information you choose to share so we can help you.
- Website analytics. We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (pages visited, referral source, country). This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you.
2. What our plugins collect
Our plugins run entirely on your computer. They do not record, transmit, or analyze your audio. They contain no telemetry, tracking, advertising, copy protection, or online activation of any kind — no internet connection is ever required.
3. How we use your information
- To deliver purchases and downloads

- To send newsletter updates you have opted into
- To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting requirements
4. What we don't do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not send marketing on behalf of third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiles.
5. Data retention
We keep order records for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to assist you.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@magicalmysteryaudio.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
Our website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for it to function, plus any set by Gumroad's embedded checkout when you make a purchase. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify newsletter subscribers.
